Day 16: Favorite book genre and what book made you fall in love with it.
My favourite book genre is Paranormal Romance. There is one person who is responsible for that:
J.R. Ward
Ms. Ward is the author of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I never considered myself a romance lover until I read her books. I didn't even know that Paranormal Romance (or "PNR") was a genre! I have read all of the books in her Black Dagger Brotherhood series, and I am always on the look-out for other PNR authors!
A close second is Dystopia. I have always been a fan of post-apocalyptic movies, but I had actually never read a post-apocalypic or dystopian novel. In 2011, I read my first one:
Forbidden by Ted Dekker and Tosca Lee
I really enjoyed Forbidden, and then I started to actually look for books in the dystopian genre. I discovered the Matched series by Ally Condie, Sky Chasers series by Amy Kathleen Ryan, The Chemical Garden series by Lauren DeStefano, and more. I am now firmly hooked on this genre!

Fantasy- I fell in love with it during high school when I was reading The Dragonlance series. Never looked back.
