I read my first Frater book last month, when I joined the Fraterfest Read-a-Thon. This is Book #1 in the As The World Dies trilogy, which is a post-apocalyptic story with zombies. This is the first book in an extremely long time that actually scared me while reading! I'm talking about heart-pounding, jumpy, and afraid-to-turn-out-the-lights kind of scared! I highly recommend it if you enjoy zombies and are looking for a good scare!

I haven't read that one, but one that scared the life out of me was Still Missing by Chevy Stevens.
ReplyDeleteOooooooh, I agree completely, fredamans! I loved Still Missing! It was chilling. I still haven't gotten around to read Stevens' sophomore, Never Knowing.
DeleteI've read The First Days - enjoyed it a great deal, but it didn't really scare me. I'll tell you what DID, though - It by Stephen King lol. I couldn't even get past the first 50 pages (such a wuss!) ;D
ReplyDeleteHi, M.A.D. I don't think you are a wuss at all! I haven't yet read It, but I have heard from many people that it definitely is one of his scarier books! I hope that I get a chance to listen to it next year!
