Day 21: A book that you think is highly overrated.
The Gunslinger by Stephen King
The Dark Tower series is considered by many King fans to be his best work. I was disappointed when I read The Gunslinger in October. I was pretty "meh" about it. I still haven't read further on in the series, but I hope it improves!

I'm not a King fan. Horror freaks me out. I don't have a highly overrated book either. Usually if the publishers put the money behind the advertising, it turns out to be a good one.
ReplyDeleteHi, Dorine. One of the reasons why I didn't enjoy The Gunslinger is because it is NOT horror. It's fantasy. I much prefer King's horror novels to his fantasy writing. I don't know...I guess we'll see if my opinion changes as I read on.
