Hi, everyone!
This is my wrap-up post for the Paranormal Romance Challenge 2011 hosted by Laurie at Bitten By Paranormal Romance.
Me, like romance?? I never thought I would ever say that! That is, not until I discovered paranormal romances which I discovered this year and has become one of my favourite genres!
CHALLENGE NOT COMPLETED!
The challenge was to read 20 paranormal romance books in 2011, and I managed to read 14:
- Dark Lover by J.R. Ward (Book #1 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series)
- Lover Eternal by J.R. Ward (Book #2 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series)
- Lover Awakened by J.R. Ward (Book #3 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series)
- Lover Revealed by J.R. Ward (Book #4 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series)
- Lover Unbound by J.R. Ward (Book #5 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series)
- Lord of the Vampires by Gena Showalter (Book #1 of the Royal House of Shadows Series)
- Lover Enshrined by J.R. Ward (Book #6 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series)
- The Last Rising by Rachel Firasek (Book #1 of the Curse of the Phoenix Series)
- Lover Avenged by J.R. Ward (Book #7 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series)
- Blood's Voice by Áine P. Massie (Book #1 of the House Millar Series)
- Lover Mine by J.R. Ward (Book #8 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series)
- Lover Unleashed by J.R. Ward (Book #9 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series)
- Lord of Rage by Jill Monroe (Book #2 of the Royal House of Shadows Series)
- Lord of the Wolfyn by Jessica Andersen (Book #3 of the Royal House of Shadows Series)
I have to thank The
Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward for introducing me to this genre! I remember that I Googled, "If you liked Twilight, you'll love..." and that is how I happened to stumble upon this amazing series! I am anxiously awaiting the next installment, which is due in March 2012.
Although I did not complete the challenge, I am thrilled to have discovered this genre and plan to read more next year!
Thanks again for hosting, Laurie! I'm already signed up for the 2012 challenge!
