This is my wrap-up post for the High Summer Read-A-Thon!
I did accomplish my reading goals! I finished the two books that I wanted to finish, and I started the two books that I wanted to start! I actually nearly finished my third book, Cinder, and had just 40 minutes left to listen on the audiobook!

For some, that doesn't sound like a lot but, for me, that's about my limit because I'm really short on time to myself. Gone are the days when I can read a book a night! Ah, such is life with young kids!

DeleteYou're doing better than I am. I did read two books, but I have 3 more going, which are in stall mode because I left them back in Manila.
ReplyDeleteIs that one an audio book? I always liked the thought of those. I finally bought one and cranked it up. I found out that the concept sounds great, but didn't work out for me. After chapter 1, I got up to get a Sprite. While I was in the kitchen, I washed the dishes. Then I mopped the floor.
The next thing I knew there was silence and chapter 2 was done. I didn't recall any of it. I still have it. I think if I ever wind up in a spot where I am forced to not be able to move, I'll give it a listen. lol
By the way, if you're not doing anything, I am hosting a "Dog Days of Summer" 3-day blog fest if you're interested. It runs from Aug 10-12.
