TBR Pile Knockout is hosted by Ana of Beach Bum Reads and Anna of Herding Cats & Burning Soup to tackle our HUGE and STILL GROWING TBR piles.
Here is some information about the meme copied from Anna's blog:
The 1st of each month we'll be posting our pick for the month with our goal is to make a rather nice dent in our TBR piles. So, aside from our other lovely reads, we will be making sure ONE book out of our TBR pile will be read :)
Want to join in? Check out the rules:
1. Go to your TBR pile and randomly pick one book off your list any way you want!
2. Come back here every month (or however often you'd like to join in) and link up your "TBR Pile Knockout" post in the linky below! [posts can include anything, cover, if you're excited about the pick, a review, etc]
Don't have a blog? You can still join in! Just link in your Goodreads reviews or add link the Amazon/B&N page for the book and leave your thoughts in a comment on this page :)
This was my May Pick:
Success! I read my TBR Pile Knockout pick last month, and I enjoyed it. I haven't had a chance yet to post a review, but it should be up soon.

This is my June Pick:
If there was an award for how long an audiobook has remained on someone's iPod without being listened to, I would win the award with this one.
I am a huge fan of Stevens' debut novel, Still Missing. When her sophomore book came out in July 2011, I got the audiobook right away with the full intention of devouring it. But...that didn't happen. I don't have any good reason, other than becoming excited about other new releases and then this one kept getting pushed to the back-burner. Not anymore! I'm going to listen to it!! Besides, she's a Canadian author so I have to show my support!
Wish me luck!

Woot! Congrats on knocking out your May read! I loved that one!! Adam and Mercy are two of my favorites :)
ReplyDeleteHaven't heard of the author for book two but it looks interesting! Good luck getting it knocked off your tbr list!

Hi, Anna. I highly recommend Still Missing. I'm hoping that Never Knowing is just as good.
