Laurie White is the author of two published novels from Sweet Cravings Publishing. She loves writing sexy, suspenseful stories that feature strong heroines and troubled yet honorable heroes. In her other life, Laurie is a vet tech student and proud momma of four cats. She lives with her family in the hills of Tennessee.

Hello everyone! I am honored to be guesting today on Darlene's Book Nook. Since I'm a new author, my post will be "10 Things About Me" so you all can get to know me better.

1. I love animals and recently graduated from a veterinary technology program.

2. I've been writing since the early 1990s (off and on).

3. I worked for the State Department for a time a few years ago.

4. I love to travel, and in addition to many U.S. states I've been to Russia, Korea, China, Germany, Italy, France, Sweden and England.

5. In my spare time (when not writing) I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.

6. I have one younger brother, who is a professional musician.

7. Still looking for that Mr. Right!

8. My favorite food is pizza.

9. I'm also addicted to Japanese hibachi.

10. My favorite professional athlete inspired the hero for my first manuscript (never to see the light of day, LOL!).
