I am pleased to participate in the Book Tour hosted by Orangeberry Book Tours for Amber Kallyn's Magicstorm.
About Amber:
About Amber:
One of those rare breeds, Amber Kallyn is an Arizona native who can trace her family's history through six generations in the state. She lives with her sexy husband, and their four very active children. Included in the menagerie are two cats (though there's always room for more) and two dogs. We won't count all the fish.
Amber loves the paranormal, from dragons to werewolves to vampires. She's currently at work on her next book, probably running around the house acting out a fight scene with her collection of swords and daggers. Or maybe, wishing she had claws to practice the other fight scenes.
A voracious lover of the written word, Amber found at an early age that she could read fast. Really fast. She devours novels by the day, novellas by the hour, and is always looking to get her hands on more.

Why Writing is a Form of Personal Therapy
By Amber Kallyn
I’ll admit it. A few months ago, my life turned upside down and spun wildly. Life is finally settling a bit, but I still feel like I’m on a rollercoaster some days.
And during the craziness, my schedule, IE Writing, got lost.
I’m finally getting back in the groove, and while it’s a struggle, it’s also awesome. Because I forgot how good it felt to delve into my imagination, to be carried away to new worlds and new people as I told the stories my characters want me to.
Now, granted, I’m not a vampire or a shapeshifter. I don’t live in the past. But my characters are people (in my head). They have problems, they struggle with things, and they are emotional, dealing with events and others who make their emotions crazy.
By writing about their difficulties, their sorrows and joys, I can feel them myself. Not that my own emotions transfer directly to my books, but in a way, they do.
Because don’t we all have to deal with sadness, or happiness?
Books can be a release, and at least for me, writing can help me deal with my own emotional journey.
One lucky winner will win a digital copy of Amber's Paranormal/Vampire Romance, Magicstorm!

When a mortal cop must delve into the paranormal, only a Viking vampire can save her soul, and her heart.
Detective Celeste Wilder knows who she is, a damn fine cop. But when the recently dubbed ‘Cult Murders’ start back up, this time targeting city prostitutes she’s sworn to protect, she’s thrown into a world of paranormal creatures she never believed existed. And now, they’re out to keep her from uncovering even more secrets.
An immortal Viking vampire, Brandon Wulfgar knows something is strange the moment he sees Celeste valiantly fighting for her life against a group of rogue vampires. When he’s asked to work with her–solve the crime while keeping the mortal woman safe–he figures no problem.
But as the undeniable connection between them grows and danger appears from every side, they will have to trust one another not just for their lives, but for their very souls.
