High Summer Read-a-Thon: Wrap-up Post #HSreadathon @truebookaddict

This is my Wrap-up Post for the High Summer Read-a-Thon!

I Finished 5 Books
(two paperbacks, three audiobooks):

Broken Angels
(Katie Maguire, Book #2)
by Graham Masterton

Burntown
by Jennifer McMahon
[on my iPod]

Final Girls
by Riley Sager
[on my iPod]

by Patricia Briggs, David Lawrence and Amelia Woo
(Mercedes Thompson Graphic Novels, Book #1.1)

Into the Water
by Paula Hawkins
[on my iPod]

Still reading:

by J.L. Bourne
(Day by Day Armageddon, Book #2)

I actually didn't even get a chance to start my Christmas picks for the Christmas in July Read-a-Thon, so next year I'm going to start my Christmas reads earlier in the second week instead of only the last 48 hrs! I am reading them this week, though.

Stats:
Books finished = 5
Pages read = 494
Listening time = 24 hours, 39 minutes

If I go by the page numbers for the printed editions of the audiobooks I listened to, that's a total of 1,246 pages read so I'm good with that!

Thanks again to Michelle at Seasons of Reading for hosting!

  1. You did great, Darlene! I'm always impressed with the ones who I know are really busy in real life (like me). I hope you enjoyed it. How did you like Final Girls? My mom just read my copy that I got from Book of the Month. I hoping to get to it soon. I gave mom Into The Water for her birthday on Friday so I'll be reading that in future too. Thanks again for joining us. Hope to see you for FrightFall.

By the way, I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Nice, huh? :/

    1. Thanks, Michelle! I'll definitely see you for FrightFall.

Yet another thing that we have in common is hypothyroidism! I highly recommended Mary Shomon's thyroid books and visiting her website. Way back in the 90s when I was diagnosed, there was so little support because thyroid patients have discovered that getting the diagnosis and starting on meds is only the beginning to getting your health back. It's a long journey. Email me anytime if you want to chat more about it, Michelle!
