Stacking The Shelves and Sunday Post

This meme is hosted by Tynga over at Team Tynga's Reviews, which she describes as follows:
"Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!"

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

Well, we sure did get that dump of snow that we were expecting! I had 2-foot drifts in front of my garage and the rest of the driveway was at least a foot deep by Tuesday morning. We continued to get more snow on Wednesday before it finally tapered off on Thursday. They predicted that we would get up to 30 cm, but I think we got more than that!

The temperature is currently -23 degrees Celsius (that's -9 degrees Fahrenheit), and it is only going up to a high of -18 (that's -0.4 degrees Fahrenheit) today. It will be bitterly cold all week, due to the Polar Vortex.

I bought this Daily Deal for $3.95 from Audible:

The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine
(Ravenspire, Book #1)

I also won a couple of giveaways!

I won these books in the FrightFall Read-a-Thon giveaway, which was for $10 worth of book from Better World Books, hosted by Michelle at Seasons of Reading:

Shadow Marked by Anna J. Evans (Demon Bound, Book #1)
Dark Awakening by Kendra Leigh Castle (Dark Dynasties, Book #1)
Night Life by Caitlin Kittredge (Nocturne City, Book #1)

Thanks again, Michelle!

I also won this book in the HoHoHo Read-a-Thon giveaway, which was my choice of book up to $20 from The Book Depository, hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Book Reviewer:

Unravelling Oliver by Liz Nugent

Thanks again, Kimberly!

    1. I will be hibernating soon! Only seven more days of work until I'm off on Christmas Break with my kids, and then I'm hoping for lots of R&R time.
