This is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week, they post a new Top Ten list that one of their bloggers will answer. Everyone is welcome to join!
Today's list is: Ten Books I've Added To My To-Be-Read List Lately! Here are some new-to-me books that I recently purchased.
Bleed Like Me by Christa Desir: This YA book deals with cutting, which is a difficult topic to read. I don't typically read YA contemporary books, but I do like realistic fiction that deals with societal issues. This brand-new hardcover was discounted to $1.50, so it was a steal!
Pines and Wayward by Blake Crouch: These are the first two books in the Wayward Pines series, but I have not watched the television show. I love the horror genre, and I've heard great things about Blake Crouch so I couldn't pass these ones up when I saw them at a discount store for $3 each!
Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris: I love psychological thrillers, and I recently bought this on Audible and can't wait to listen to it!
Flesh and Blood by John Harvey: This is the first book in the Frank Elder series, and it sounds like a great mystery from a new-to-me author. I bought this one at a library book sale, where you fill a bag for $5!
The Policy by Bentley Little: I recently read my first book by this horror author, The Haunted, and I really enjoyed it! When I saw this book at a used book sale for $1, I grabbed it.
The Deep by Nick Cutter: Here's another horror author that I have wanted to try for a while now, and I grabbed this one for $2 at a used book sale.
Furious by T.R. Ragan: This is the first book in the Faith McMann trilogy, which sounds like a great mystery. It was offered as a Daily Deal on Audible for $2.95, so it was too hard to pass up!
