In this short story, Maya and her friend, Nicole, meet Rafe Martinez on the first day of school. Rafe is portrayed as arrogant and conceited, and Maya felt apprehensive about him from the get-go!  

There aren't any real surprises here but, if you enjoyed The Gathering, then you will probably enjoy this additional story!

3 stars!!  It was good, and I enjoyed it!
