Stacking The Shelves and Sunday Post

This meme is hosted by Tynga over at Team Tynga's Reviews, which she describes as follows:

"Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!"

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

Well, we got our first big dump of snow this week, so that's pretty darn good!! The snow held off this year until nearly December! We received between 9-11 cm of snow, so that made for a very slow drive home from work on Wednesday and lots of shovelling that evening. Because of the snowfall, the temps have been pretty mild with daytime highs of -6 degrees Celsius but by the end of next week that's going to drop drastically with highs of -15 degrees Celsius. On the upside, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! I do love the snow. My furry friends must be hiding in the forest.

I just finished For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund and I just had to buy the prequel and sequel from the Amazon Kindle Store even though I hate reading e-books:

by Diana Peterfreund
(For Darkness Shows the Stars, Book #0.5)

by Diana Peterfreund
(For Darkness Shows the Stars, Book #1.5)

This is Tantor Audio's FREEBIE of the month which includes both the audiobook and e-book:

The North Pole
by Robert E. Peary

  1. Your snow is so gorgeous. Happy December!

  2. I moved from MN to NC and I prefer the 2-4 days of snow we have here to the 4-6 months of snow. It's better for riding the Harley. It was warm today about 20C but it's going to get down to -3C at night so freezing later this week.

Enjoy your new reads! I have lots of audiobooks right now. Anne - Books of My Heart
