I don't mind the rain. I didn't feel much like raking the leaves anyway, LOL!
It's been a bit chilly this week. Thankfully, we don't yet have any fluffy white stuff but the provinces west of us have gotten it already. Last night, it was +2 degrees Celsius and I could see flakes coming down that were melting as they hit the ground. Any colder and the snow would have stayed!
Autumn is when I make more soups and stews, so I made chili and chicken noodle soup last week and then a beef stew a couple nights ago. Yesterday, I made an apple crisp which made the whole house smell yummy. I tried making maple, raisin, and brown sugar oatmeal in my Instant Pot but got the dreaded BURN message so I'll be sticking to the stovetop for that from now on. It was still good, though!
Happy Autumn! I do love this time of year with the fall colours and pumpkin spice everything :)
I bought these at Audible's 3-for-2 sale this week:
Warm Bodies
by Isaac Marion
(Warm Bodies, Book #1)
The Boy on the Bridge
by M.R. Carey
(The Girl With All the Gifts, Book #2)
Burn for Me
by Ilona Andrews
(Hidden Legacy, Book #1)
