Too similar?

Hi, everyone!

I was surfing on Goodreads, and I had to do a double-take when I saw these two book covers:

    

Unlovable by Sherry Gammon
Between by Jessica Warman

What do you think? Do you find that the covers of these two books are surprisingly similar?

    WOW they really are similar. The whole girl on the swing with her head down, and the one word title.

    Very strange.

    this is bizarre, I'm quite sure this was not to happen. It's like going to a premiere and you the hostess and your worst enemy comes in wearing the same one of a kind dress designer dress.......... woooooo

    They are similar, but there are too many differences for them to be the same stock picture. Look at Shifting and A Beautiful Evil - they did use the same pic.

    Misty & Augie - If it was my book, I'd be ticked to see that someone basically ripped off my cover! Even the book title is in script on both covers!

    Kara Karina - I realize that it isn't exactly the same photo, but they are too similar. Shifting and A Beautiful Evil are not identical photos either: One girl is wearing a tank top and the other is nude, the hair colour is different, and the hand is missing from the left shoulder in Shifting.

    OMG, Faith Hope Cherrytea - those are virtually identical right down to the colours, except one nest has two eggs and the other has three.
