June Wrap-up

June was extremely busy with the kids' extra-curricular activities and working overtime. I'm hoping for a relaxing and quiet July!

The Book of Ivy was definitely my stand-out favourite read of the month. I never really heard much about that one. I think it's highly underrated! I can't wait to listen to the sequel. Another favourite was Alice Cooper's autobiography. I love his music, and I knew a little of his background and was fascinated by his recovery. I'm still loving Frost's Night Huntress series, and One Foot in the Grave was excellent!

My least favourite book was Blood Rose Rebellion, and I don't think I'll be continuing on in that series. I was so excited about this 2017 YA Debut, but I found it rather boring. Another one that was a bit disappointing was All the Bright Places. With all the hype surrounding that one, it didn't live up to my expectations.

I discovered five new authors and three new series, I finished one series (Raging Star), and I continued on in two series (The Marvelous Land of Oz and One Foot in the Grave).
