This is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week, they post a new Top Ten list that one of their bloggers will answer. Everyone is welcome to join!
Today's list is Ten Books That Have Been On My Shelf (Or TBR) From Before I Started Blogging That I STILL Haven't Read Yet!
Wow, that's a huge list for me!! I started blogging in 2010, and I thought by joining online reading challenges that it would give me the accountability that I needed to tackle my bookshelves! Well, you all know how that goes. Once you start book blogging and become immersed into the community, you add more books to your ever-growing TBR piles and then you start receiving review copies and the books that you intended to tackle are still there unread!
Here are ten books that I have randomly picked off my bookshelves (and they are all quite dusty!):
The Homing by John Saul
Primal Fear by William Diehl

Ooh these books look really intriguing! I hope you manage to get around to them soon. :-)
ReplyDeleteMe too, Chrissi! This post inspired to take them off the shelves, so I'm leaving them on my nightstand!
DeleteMy sister is a big fan of Mary Higgins Clark. I've listened to one or two of hers on audio. Hope you get around to a few of these.

I've read a couple of books by Mary Higgins Clark, but not for a very long time. I'm hoping to get to these, now that they are off my shelf!
DeleteOh all of these look awesome. I will have to look for a copy of Audrey Rose. I think I owned one as a teen (I was a weird kid, what can I say) but never read it and have no idea what my mother did with it - she is strictly a romance reader...believe me, I've tried (I once bought her a werewolf "romance" one for Christmas which I still doubt she has read).
ReplyDeleteI also have the sequel, For Love of Audrey Rose. I remember the movie freaked me out!
DeleteWe have similar authors but different books. Primal Fear has also been on my long term TBR list.
ReplyDeleteI've heard great things about William Diehl's books, so I'm sure it will be great! Hope we both get to enjoy it soon.
DeleteOh, your list gives me chills. I love it. I think the one that caught me the hardest was Whispers At Midnight. I think it's the discarded doll. Creepy!

I'm with you, Stephanie. Dolls on covers are usually creepy, LOL!
DeleteI would go for the Mary Higgins Clark one, I never been disappointed by one of hers:)
