You reminded me of it as I saw it here on your blog!!!! It's AWESOME!! Told from the little boy's point of view! I had to stop reading it, and I'm SOOOOOO close to being done with it! This is NOT regarding Canadian authors, BUT, want an AWESOME BOOK TO READ??? "Defending Jacob" by William Landay!!! It's about a 14 year old boy who gets accused of murdering a fellow student and his father is the Assistant District Attorney who loses his job, of course! He defends his own son. His son could care LESS about the trial and everything that is going on! The book brings up SOOO many issues about the family, the son, the other kids, and MORE! It's an amazing read! After you are done reading this book, I STILL cannot STOP thinking about it, and I finished it in February!!! It's an amazing book! Wow! WELL worth reading!!! Don't miss this one!!!
