In My Mailbox - September 4, 2011

I am participating in this weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren, where we share what books we received this week.

Is everyone exhausted from the Back to the Books Giveaway Hop? I know I am! I haven't yet managed to get through the whopping list of over 300 participants. You still have a few days left to win some great prizes! If you haven't done so yet, please click on the "Giveaways" tab at the top of the page or the "Back to the Books Giveaway Hop" button in my right sidebar and enter my giveaway for CAD$15 worth of your choice in book(s) from The Book Depository! If I reach 600 followers on GFC, I will simultaneously celebrate my 600 Followers Giveaway and draw a second winner!

My "real" mailbox was very happy this week, receiving a few books previously won in giveaways that I have been eagerly waiting for. I also received one more book for review this week.

I won this e-book at a giveaway hosted by Heather at Earth's Book Nook:

inSyte
by Greg Kiser

Thanks again, Heather & Greg!

I won this e-book in a giveaway hosted by Kathy at I Am A Reader, Not A Writer. I use the term "won" loosely because the author generously gifted each person who entered with a copy of the e-book!:

Acadia, Book I: The Lost King and the Goddess of Time (The Second Great War Trilogy)
by Ali Naqvi

Thanks again, Kathy & Ali!

I received this hardcover book in my "real" mailbox this week! I won it in a giveaway hosted by Dana at Let's Book It:

The Second Messiah
by Glenn Meade

Thanks again, Dana and Glenn!

I won this e-book in a giveaway hosted by Joanne at Booklover Book Reviews:

The Chicken Thief
by Fiona Leonard

Thanks again, Joanne & Fiona!

I won this e-book in a giveaway hosted by Kimberly at Coffee Time Romance and More:

A Love Rekindled
by Myne Whitman

Thanks again, Kimberly & Myne!

I "won" (and I use that term loosely because the author gifted everyone who commented with a copy) this e-book at a giveaway hosted by Krystal at Live To Read:

Peace at the Edge of Uncertainty
by Neil Hanson

Thanks again, Krystal & Neil!

I won Prize Package #4 (5 e-books, the entire Ghost Huntress series!) in the 300 Followers Giveaway hosted by Catie at Forbidden Passions Interviews:

The Ghost Huntress series by Marley Gibson:
  • The Awakening (Book #1)
  • The Guidance (Book #2)
  • The Reason (Book #3)
  • The Counseling (Book #4
  • The Discovery (Book #5)
Thanks again, Catie & Marley, for this awesome series!

I won this e-book in a giveaway hosted by Inga at Me and reading:

Whale Song
by Cheryl Kaye Tardif

Thanks again, Inga & Cheryl!

Even though I was not a winner in the Vampire Bay Giveaway hosted by the author at Sandra's Blog, she did award me with a Vampire Bay Consolation Prize:

Makita
by Sandra Cox

Thanks again, Sandra!

I received this hardcover book in my "real" mailbox this week. I won it in a giveaway hosted by Karen at Bookin' with Bingo:

The Bedtime Book for Dogs
by Bruce Littlefield

Thanks again, Karen & Bruce! My kids will enjoy it!
I received this paperback book in my "real" mailbox this week. I won it in a giveaway hosted by Kim at Is There A Bathroom On This Ship?:

Chicken Soup for the Soul: Just for Teenagers
by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, and Amy Newmark

Thanks again, Kim, and the good people at Chicken Soup for the Soul Publishing!

I received this paperback in my "real" mailbox this week. I won it in a giveaway hosted by Rajee at Mom's Focus on Cyber World (I actually entered and won the giveaway for Savor the Danger, which is the third book in the series, but the publisher mailed this one to me in error):

Trace of Fever
(Book #2, Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor)
by Lori Foster

Thanks again, Rajee!

I received this paperback in my "real" mailbox for review from Owlkids Books:

Off to Class: Incredible and Unusual Schools Around the World

Thanks again, Kendal, at Owlkids Books!

What did you get in your mailbox this week?

If you are also participating in the In My Mailbox meme, please leave me the link to your post so that I can drool over all your goodies!

If anyone has read any of these books yet, I would love to hear what you thought!
