1. Hide from Evil by Jami Alden (Dead Wrong, Book #2)

I had fully intended to tackle more sequels, but I had requested It by Stephen King from my library on Overdrive and my hold was checked out to me on September 12th. The audiobook is 45 hours long, and I'm still listening to it! My hold expired, and I was back on the waiting list (#38). I decided that I didn't want to wait that long to finish listening so I ended up getting it so that I could continue. Anyway, listening to It kept me from completing my goal of reading four sequels in September!

Oh my gosh, I am totally stoked to find this upcoming release! Distress Signals, which I listened to earlier this year, is one of my favourite reads for 2017. If you enjoy mysteries with plot twists and haven't picked that one up yet, I urge you to do so! I absolutely loved it, and I can't wait to read Howard's next release!

Bones, oh my! Seriously, you need to read this book. Turn to Chapter 32 and read it now. It's the hottest scene in a paranormal romance that I've ever read! Yes, Frost outdoes Ward.

I'm listening to:

I have this paperback on my dusty bookshelf. However, given that it's 1,116 pages long, I decided to borrow the audiobook from the library. I know it's crazy long at almost 45 hrs, but at least I'd get through more listening in a day than reading. It will probably take me at least three weeks to get through. This is another good pick for RIPXII and Frightfall Read-a-Thon! I'm about 65% finished. Another week maybe?

Nothing last week! I'm 65% finished on my audiobook, but it's 45 hours long! I think it will be at least another week, maybe ten days, before I finish it.

I have not had a lot of sit-down time to read, so my paperback is taking me an unusually long time to finish! I hope I finish it this week!

Where did September go? Another month has just flown by. Our temperature is still warm with a high expected today of 18 degrees Celsius (that's 64 degrees Fahrenheit), but rain is also in the forecast. I do love the rain and <shhhhhh> I'm actually praying for rain so that I can have a down day and stay indoors and read and not feel obligated to go outside and rake the leaves!
