Stacking The Shelves and Sunday Post

This meme is hosted by Tynga over at Team Tynga's Reviews, which she describes as follows:

"Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!"

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

You know it's cold when...

...the cat has no desire to ever leave her heated bed!

The deer are very happy that someone shovelled a path to give them access to grass to nibble on:

But these ones found the food that was in the front yard:

I saw this at a used book sale for $0.65, and I couldn't pass it up. That wintery cover makes it a fitting read for this time of year:

  1. When we lived in Georgia, our neighborhood always had deer! We'd walk to the playground and see an entire herd grazing near the equipment. We live in a bigger city now, so we rarely see any wildlife, but we're in the middle of a move. Maybe our next residence will have more deer! My son loved looking for them, and the girls are old enough to be interested now, too.

    Have a lovely reading week!

  2. I always enjoy Sandra's books. This is one I haven't read yet. And I love the pictures of the deer you share every year!

  3. Oh I really like Sandra Brown - good find. Although I am such an ereader now I would have checked to see if it was at the library (on my phone). I do that all the time with the audible deals too. I have so much stuff. It's easier to let the library keep and pay for it. lol. We had snow also but it's melting and in the 50s well that's like 12-15C I think.

I'm drowning in audiobooks right now so I am listening everywhere I go. Anne - Books of My Heart
