Well, I survived the first week back to work after Christmas Break! Just barely!! Studies show that we have poorer memory and slower reaction times, in addition to the tiredness, following a return to work after vacation. Yup, I agree! My kids are more tired as well, having to re-adjust to waking up early. Hopefully, next week will be easier.
It's been pretty cold here. Our temps have plunged, and our daytime high yesterday was -24 degrees Celsius (that's -11 degrees Fahrenheit) with a windchill of -33 degrees Celsius (that's -27 degrees Fahrenheit). We are expecting a brief warm-up on Wednesday, so next weekend will be milder.

Yeah, I made it through the first week back at work too. LOL And its very cold for the south also. We got up to 70s and now have a week of frigid temps again. I long for summer! Stay toasty with those new books:)

I'm glad you survived your first week back! I think my kids had to adjust more than I did.
ReplyDeleteoh gosh, going back to work after a break is ugh! I need to read J.R. Ward one day, I have one on my Nook. Happy reading and stay warm!
ReplyDeleteSome great looking books. I'm so over winter already. Stay warm and safe!
ReplyDeleteI guess it’s good that I don’t get breaks from work. It’s been cold here, too, but not THAT cold. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I agree about post holiday tiredness. My reading is in a slump. Hopefully it will recover soon.
