Well, back to the grind tomorrow! It was an enjoyable week of Sping Break, taking time off to spend with my kids and to still recover from being sick. We were able to get out and do some fun things and also to enjoy some much-needed downtime. It just went by too fast!
The weather has been just beautiful, and we couldn't have asked for better weather for Spring Break. Everything is melting, we had temps above zero, and it's really looking like Spring is here!!
Waking up to +6 degrees Celsius (that's 42 degrees Fahrenheit) with a high of +13 (that's 55 degrees Fahrenheit) today! Only a bit of snow left in my backyard. The deer are happy to be able to graze again! You can see the flooding in the back left corner and on the right side:

If you missed it earlier, I have ARCs to swap. Check out MY POST to see if there's anything there that you'd like to read. If so, please let me know! I'd love to trade with someone. I will be adding to it once I have a chance to dig through boxes and bookshelves.
I bought these audiobooks from Audible at their 2-for-1 sale:
(Faith McMann, Book #2)
I received this audiobook gift from Shane:
Thanks again, Shane!

Love those pics of the deer. They look so peaceful. Sounds like you've got some good listening material. Happy reading! I'm a blog follower and you can find my post for StS here if you'd like to stop by.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteSo nice to actually see your backyard. Seems it has been covered in snow forever. Ugh, back to the daily grind indeed!
ReplyDeleteI know, LOL! It has FELT like it's been covered in snow forever! It's been five months, so that's long enough!!
DeleteAwesome pictures. Glad your snow melted and that you're feeling better. It's going to be a warm week here-in the 50's. Headed out to get some yard work done.
ReplyDeleteOh, nice! Yes, it's nice to be outside again without having to bundle up!
DeleteThe deer are back. I'm going back to work tomorrow too. Time ff just flies by. Funny how that happens:)You can see the pool now too!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
Hope your vacation was relaxing!

Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog and join in this week’s Book Photo Sundays!
Thanks, Ronyell! Hope your weather is good, too.
DeleteLove the scenes of the deer. I saw a robin yesterday so I guess Spring is here. I also have a woodpecker that likes the shakes on my house.
ReplyDeleteThankfully, the woodpeckers leave the house alone here! However, they like to drum on the hydro pole at the end of my driveway. Even from there, it's pretty loud! The Canada Geese are back. My yard hasn't had robins yet, but they are around. I keep missing them :)
