Top Ten Authors That I'd Love To Meet #TopTenTuesday

This is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week, they post a new Top Ten list that one of their bloggers will answer. Everyone is welcome to join!

Today's list is:

Top Ten Authors That I'd Love To Meet

Dean Koontz
I know that Stephen King is referred to as the King of Horror, but Koontz actually earns that title in my book! His books are so scary because they could actually happen! The fear is usually psychological.

J.K. Rowling
The brilliant mind behind Harry Potter and all those creatures and magic!

J.R. Ward
I never knew what a paranormal romance was until I read her Black Dagger Brotherhood series!

Chevy Stevens
This Canadian author writes a thriller like no other!

M.C. Beaton
She introduced me to the cozy mystery genre with her Agatha Raisin series!

John Saul
Here's another favourite author of the horror genre, whose books have kept me reading into the wee hours of the night!

Max Lucado
His books have been an inspiration and a comfort.

Laini Taylor
Her Daughter of Smoke & Bone was my favourite YA book of 2011. An amazing fantasy!

Anne Bishop
Her The Others series is phenomenal! Amazing world building.

Laura Lee Hope
For turning me into a bookworm! I loved her Bobbsey Twins series, and I still have my childhood set to pass down to my kids.

So, what authors would you love to meet? Please let me know in the comments, or leave me a link to your blog post if you are also participating in the meme!

  1. I hope you meet all the authors on your TTT list this week. The cool thing is that I made a TTT post a couple of years ago of all the authors I wanted to meet in person some day and I ended up meeting three of them in person within a year!! I'm hoping to meet the rest of the authors on my TTT list some point in time!

This week I choose to focus on the eleven authors I can't believe I've already met! Here's a link to my TTT post for this week:
