This meme is hosted by Tynga over at Team Tynga's Reviews, which she describes as follows:
"Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!"

I never thought I'd say this, but we've had temps ABOVE ZERO Celsius in JANUARY!!! January is typically our deep-freeze month, and we frequently go through the entire month of January not getting any warmer than -30 degrees Celsius. Last week, we had windchills that brought us down to -45 degrees Celsius and we broke a record in December for the 2nd snowiest December on record and the snowiest city across Canada! Now, we are breaking records for the warmest January days!
It is a misty, moisty morning...as that old nursery rhyme goes! Waking up to +1 degree Celsius, crazy!!! Hmmm, I can see the deer were destructive during the night, knocking down my tray feeder and the heated bird bath!
You can actually see my picnic table now!
Will the warm spell last? By Tuesday, the daytime high slips below zero again but still only single-digits so I can't complain. The coldest day is expected on Thursday, with a high of -6 degrees Celsius and a low of -15 degrees Celsius.

ReplyDeleteIt warmed up here too briefly and was warm enough to not need a coat! In January no less. Wish it would stay this way. :)
