Spring Into Horror Read-A-Thon: Wrap-up

This is my wrap-up post for the Spring Into Horror Read-A-Thon!

I probably should have spent more time yesterday reading, but I was too busy trying to complete all of the mini-challenges hosted by Erin at Oh, For the Hook of a Book. All in all, I did accomplish my reading goals.

Books Finished:

by Nalo Hopkinson
[read- paranormal]

(Alpha & Omega, Book #2)
by Patricia Briggs
[listened- paranormal]

Started But Not Finished:

Cinema of Shadows
by Michael West
[reading - horror]

Fair Game
(Alpha & Omega, Book #3)
by Patricia Briggs
[listening - paranormal]

Total Pages Read: 271 pages
Total Minutes Listened: 494 minutes
Mini-Challenges Completed: 6/6

I know that doesn't sound like a lot but, for me, that's about my limit because I'm really short on time to myself. Ah, such is the life with young kids!

My reviews for The Chaos and Hunting Ground will be posted later this week.

Thanks again to Michelle at Castle Macabre for hosting this challenge! Also thanks to Erin at Oh, For the Hook of a Book and Krista at Book Review Club for their hard work in hosting mini-challenges and giveaways, as well as to all the authors who donated their books for the giveaways!

I’m looking forward to Michelle’s next read-a-thon, the High Summer Read-a-Thon, which she will be hosting at The True Book Addict in July.

  2. Thanks Darlene. It was my very FIRST time doing a read-a-thon. I also have small children. The 8 year old as you know *smile*, a 12 year old and a 4 year old, plus two step-children, ages 12 and 9 that we see more periodically. We are super busy too, and I can fully relate. So nice to meet you! Sorry getting to it late on the Canada front, but glad we finally got you included. Most don't include, but it's really not expensive! Talk to you soon!
