Showers of Books Giveaway Hop: April 24th to 30th (Canada/US)

Hi, everyone!

Welcome to Stop #66 of the Showers of Books Giveaway Hop!

This blog hop is being hosted by Kathy at I'm A Reader, Not A Writer and Books à la Mode.

Over
200 blogs are offering a book giveaway, and we are all linked up together so that you can easily hop from one giveaway to another! The hop runs from Wednesday, April 24th through
Tuesday, April 30th.

Details of my giveaway:

We haven't had much in the way of Spring Showers here on the Canadian Prairies. We still have snow on the ground and the forecast is calling for more flurries tomorrow, yikes! What better way to cheer up from the inclement weather than to curl up with a book?

One lucky winner will win a brand new hardcover copy of Bright Young Things by Anna Godbersen! I was at Chapters-Indigo last week and saw this on sale and thought it would make a great gift!

SERIES: Bright Young Things, Book #1
AUTHOR: Anna Godbersen
PUBLISHER: HarperTeen
PUBLICATION DATE: October 12, 2010
FORMAT: Hardcover, 389 pages
ISBN: 9780061962660

The year is 1929. New York is ruled by the Bright Young Things: Flappers and socialites seeking thrills and chasing dreams in the anything-goes era of the Roaring Twenties.

Letty Larkspur and Cordelia Grey escaped their small Midwestern town for New York's glittering metropolis. All Letty wants is to see her name in lights, but she quickly discovers Manhattan is filled with pretty girls who will do anything to be a star....

Cordelia is searching for the father she's never known, a man as infamous for his wild parties as he is for his shadowy schemes. Overnight, she enters a world more thrilling and glamorous than she ever could have imagined — and more dangerous. It's a life anyone would kill for...and someone will.

The only person Cordelia can trust is Astrid Donal, a flapper who seems to have it all: money, looks, and the love of Cordelia's brother, Charlie. But Astrid's perfect veneer hides a score of family secrets.

Across the vast lawns of Long Island, in the illicit speakeasies of Manhattan, and on the blindingly lit stages of Broadway, the three girls' fortunes will rise and fall — together and apart. From the New York Times bestselling author of The Luxe comes an epic new series set in the dizzying last summer of the Jazz Age.

  9. I love Spring. It's when the cold and ice of winter melts away and flowers begin to bloom. The grass becomes green again. The birds chirp in the trees. And the weather warms, which is probably the very best part! So far, I have experienced many April showers. I can't wait for their inevitable consequence: flowers!
Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Spring!
