The HoHoHo Read-a-Thon has begun! I've dug out my Christmas books and I'm ready!!

I'm Reading:

Something from my dusty bookshelf. I really loved Graham's A Magical Christmas, so I have high hopes for this one!

I'm Listening To:

I love Macomber's Christmas stories! I received this one for review.

by Debbie Macomber

Love the name of this series! I haven't read the earlier ones in the series so hopefully this one works as a standalone.

Have you read any of these books? Which ones should I bump up the TBR pile?

I will post my updates on Twitter using the #HoHoHoRAT hashtag, and then do a wrap-up post at the end of the read-a-thon on my blog.

Thanks again to Kimberly at Caffeinated Book Reviewer for hosting!

  1. Great TBR, Darlene! I've read one of Heather Graham's Christmas books, I can't remember which. My mum was saying the other day she loves Debbie Macomber's Christmas stories, so I might try to read one of those this winter!

  2. These all look interesting! My book club is looking for a good Christmas read. We will discuss it—or not!— at our holiday brunch so we are looking for something light and quick to read. It probably should not be a new release since members like to be able to check it out from the library, or pick it up for the Kindle at a 'specials' rate.

Based on you holiday readings of the past, can you make any recommendations?

    1. Macomber's Christmas books are perfect sweet "feel good" stories. If your group likes inspirational/religious stories, I absolutely loved Melody Carlson's The Christmas Angel Project. That would be good for a book club, if the group likes that type of a read. I love Richard Paul Evans, especially his The Christmas List.
