Michelle at Castle Macabre is hosting this read-a-long of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. This is the Final Discussion Post for the last half of the book, from Chapters 8 to 11.
Here are my thoughts:
I thought that the third section of the book lagged a bit. The book started off so strong and was built up so well during the first half of the book, so this was a bit disappointing. Still, overall, I did really enjoy the book as a whole and liked the ending. I will continue on with the rest of the series.
I have not seen the movie yet, and I have avoided watching any trailers or reading reviews. I can't wait to see Cairnholm Island brought to life!
