This is my (really late) Wrap-up Post for the Gone With the Wind Read-a-Long.
FAILED!
I got as far as buying the audiobook from Audible.com for a steal at $6.95. I had no idea that the book was so long! It clocks in at 49 hrs and 7 mins, which would make it the longest audiobook that I have ever listened to!
I had so many audiobooks on my plate for review that I just couldn't take the time to devote to this mammoth book! At 49 hrs, it would take me over a month to listen and I just couldn't squeeze it in.
This book is still on my TBR pile, and I hope to get a chance to tackle it next year!

I'm sorry you haven't had time to read the audiobook, I'm quite curious about it. But I tend to think that for such a giant book like Gone With the Wind, reading the ebook would be the best solution. I hope you'll read it somehow in the future! :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Fanda. I have very little sit-down time to read. If it wasn't for audiobooks, I'd never have the time! I don't think I could get through reading this book in a traditional format because it would take me forever to read...and then I might lose steam! I'll have to plan for it, definitely, knowing how long it is.
