Day 15: The book that made you fall in love with reading.
I love the entire "Little Golden Book" series, but this one was my favourite! These are the earliest books that I remember.
My First Counting Book by Lilian Moore
When I think back to my youngest days, I remember loving this book so much! I loved the kittens on the cover, and I remember pointing to the number on each page and counting the objects. I could not read the text, but I heard the book read to me so many times by my mom and siblings that I memorized the text and was able to recite it page for page. My book was the "big book version." I still have it, but the spine is broken and the binding is loose and pages are falling out. I cannot bear to part with it! I bought the regular-sized "Little Golden Book" version for my kids.
