Stacking The Shelves and Sunday Post

This meme is hosted by Tynga over at Team Tynga's Reviews, which she describes as follows:

"Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!"

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

It's a whiteout! And, no, not snow for once!

The city is super-excited for our NHL team to be in the play-offs!  The last time the Winnipeg Jets made play-offs was in the 2014-15 season and they lost in the first round. We've won 2/7 games against the Minnesota Wild, and Game 3 is tonight. 14 more to go! Go Jets Go!!

Ha ha, gotta love Homer!

This was a Daily Deal that I bought at Audible this week:

The Deep Dark Descending
by Allen Eskens
(Detective Max Rupert, Book #4)
This was on my Wishlist, but I didn't realize that it was the 4th book in a series. Oh, well! I'll have to see if my library has the earlier books.

I received this audiobook for review:

The Thief
by J.R. Ward
(Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book #16)

Thanks again to Penguin Random House Audio!

  1. Wow, your team is in the playoffs. I'm from Minnesota and I don't even know if we came close to the playoffs, lol. I do know that the T-wolves were getting close to the NCAA tourney lest time I checked. #thesundaypost theglobaldig.blogspot.com

  3. I hope your team does well in the playoffs! My team (Avalanche) also made the playoffs for the first time in years, but they probably won’t make it past the first round. I hope you have a good week and enjoy your new book!

  5. Go Jets! I do that often. Grab a book without checking and find I'm in the middle of a series. Authors must love me. I always go back and get the previous ones. LOL
