February Wrap-up

2017 seems to just be zipping by! I know it was a short month, but still!! It seems like I just did my January Wrap-up!

February was back to the grind with work. There was only one holiday, February 20th (Louis Riel Day), and it was an extremely busy month with visiting High School Open Houses with my older daughter to see where she wants to go for the Fall and tri-conferences with school teachers for both kids. Phew, glad that's over with for now. I'm really looking forward to Spring Break this month! I need some time off :)

I finished 9 books this month (one of which was a novella and another was a short story)! Here they are (CLICK ON THE THUMBNAILS TO SEE MY REVIEW):

A Promise of Fire was definitely my stand-out favourite read of the month. It was an amazing start to a new series. My next favourite read was Reckoning, and I can't wait to read more of the Night Huntress series! I think I'm going to love it!! Born Survivors was equally good, and I can't seem to get enough of the the WWII survival stories.

My least favourite read for February was The Graveyard Apartment. I was hoping for a good scary read, and it didn't quite get there.

The Wizard of Oz was a re-read for me, and I'm participating in a series read-a-long and reading them aloud to my nine-year-old daughter.

I discovered six new authors and two new series, and I'm definitely planning to continue both of them. It looks like the whole Night Huntress series is available on Hoopla, so I'm totally stoked about that!! I also am determined to get caught up on the Agatha Raisin series.
